Food Fair “Taste” in Florence presents for its guests annually over 300 Italian food producers from all over Italy. Participants of the fair – large world-known producers and small farms – are thoroughly selected according to strict criteria of following all the rules of production of the Italian products which are pride and gastronomic heritage of Italy.
The fair is held in Pitti Immagine program, the main activities of which are usually fashion shows. Permanent venue of the program: the old railway station Leopolda, reconstructed in exhibition center but retaining the architectural design of the 19th century. The station is a great place for Italian fashion shows and for Italian food fair “Taste” which is close to fashion shows both in style and in quantity of visitors.
Cheese of all Italian regions, sausage, ham, pate, pasta of all colors and sizes, jam of all fruits and berries which can be found on the territory of the Apennine Peninsula, all kinds of desserts, including even candied mimosa (!), shining plates and glasses, colored books on cooking – each element of the fair Taste is presented to guests with that special attention and sincere love of Italians to culinary delights and delicious Italian food.
