19.10.18 - 21.10.18

The province Cuneo for many centuries has been famous for its chestnut trees, growing in the local forests in very large quantities and being one of the main components of the mediterranean diet.

The Chestnut fair in Cuneo (Fiera nazionale del Marrone) was first held at the beginning of the last century, and in the late 20th century this tradition was again restored for the delight of all fans of chestnuts :)

The fair attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world and invites the guests to taste roasted chestnuts and all kinds of dishes cooked with chestnuts.

Among the numerous stalls of the huge fair there are also many other local products and specialties of Piedmont, as well as many local handicrafts.
